Now you ask what CRAZY MOM would start a food blog (just over a week ago) and then start a diet and on top of that enter a contest, well ME, that's who!
You see almost one year ago on October 2, 2009 (which was my 38th birthday) I joined SHE ROCKS BOOT CAMP and I was determined to loose weight and become my healthiest self ever. Well, I am here to tell you almost exactly one year later (I am getting ready to celebrate my 39th birthday) and I have accomplished only about half of my goals and I am ready for a KICK IN THE BUTT, that's why I am joining in on the Shrinkvivor Challenge.

My family and I have become way better eaters, less fast food junkies and eat a lot healthier (and I have learned to LOVE to cook; ie starting a food blog). The fresh ingredients we now use compared to a year ago is amazing! Our family moto is "nothing out of a box, can or jar". I am not saying we are perfect and yes we still LOVE In-n-Out Burger (but who doesn't?). Instead of visiting fast food joints at least every other day (and sometimes two times in one day), we go MAYBE once a week. Instead of eating green beans from a can, did you know you can actually buy them in the produce section FRESH (imagine that)!
So, for the next 7 weeks, starting on September 15, 2010 and ending on November 3, 2010, I will do my BEST to EAT healthy, COOK healthy and POST healthy. I am doing this not only for myself, but hopefully for some of you too.
