Now let's get onto the blog I found in Blog-Land.....for my chocolate chip cookie recipe!

Bake or Break what a fun name for a blog. I have no idea when I came across this blog, but every time I look through it, I find something I want to make. I just discovered the COOLEST thing on her blog called RANDOM, I can't attach a link but click on over to her home page and click RANDOM. I really gotta get one of these tabs. And she lives in New York, my all-time favorite place in the world (and so fitting that I just returned from vacationing there last month, YEA ME), so now I have been there three times and my daughters claim they will be moving there after college. Bitter Sweet, but I still do LOVE IT!!!

G'ma Sandy (my mom), Ashlyn, Mom (me) and Kayley

When I announced that the CRAZY COOKING CHALLENGE this month would be Chocolate Chips Cookies, I had no idea what recipe I would make. I really do play along with you guys, I do not have my recipes already picked out. And because I have already found our FAVORITE Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, and my husband only likes ONE Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe (his mama's recipe, which is taken from the back of the Crisco box) and so, I went to my trusty file to see what I could find. There it was just sitting in there waiting to be baked: Chunky Peanut, Chocolate and Cinnamon Cookies which I have renamed Cinnamon Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. WOW, that's a mouth full!

This cookie is unlike the usual Chocolate Chip Cookie, you can taste the Peanut Butter and the cinnamon in every-bite. There is no-doughy flavor that you get from a regular chocolate chip cookie. NOT, that I don't like that, this is just VERY different, but so different and yet so delicious all at the same time. I bet if you didn't know the "name" of the cookie, you would be wondering, "What is in this Cookie?".

In the QUEST of finding the ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE RECIPE

Cinnamon Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie
originally found on Bake or Break

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter (I used chunky, becuz that's what we have)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 & 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2/3 cup roasted, salted peanuts, coarsely chopped
2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.

Beat butter and peanut butter using an electric mixer on medium speed. Mix about 2 minutes, or until combined. Add sugars and mix another 2 minutes. Add eggs and mix. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips, peanuts, and vanilla. Refrigerate dough about 15 minutes or until slightly firm.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls or use and ice cream scoop and place 2-3 inches apart on lined baking sheets. Flatten each cookie slightly. Bake 11-13 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire racks
