THIS WEEK'S CRAVINGS Linky Party #67 (NUTELLA) and Banana Nutella Pumpkin Bread

THIS WEEK'S CRAVINGS Linky Party #67
(National Nutella Day.... is February 6th
Share your Nutella / Peanut Butter or Almond Butter Recipes)
Banana Nutella Pumpkin Bread

My girls LOVE Nutella, it's very hard to keep it in the house. I had SO many recipes I wanted to try today for National Nutella Day... I just couldn't pick which one to do. I decided to go with this bread because it used my fresh pureed pumpkin I had in the freezer and some Nutella, plus it totally beats Banana Bread, hands down any day.

Here are two other fun Nutella recipes: Chocolate Nutella Fudge with Sea Salt and Raspberry & Nutella Pizza.

Banana Nutella Pumpkin Bread
adapted by me, but found at Babble - The Family Kitchen

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter – softened
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 over ripe bananas – mashed
1 cup fresh pumpkin puree (or use a can)
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp kosher salt
4 tbsp Nutella – divided

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add sugar and butter to your mixing bowl. Mix together until light and creamy. Add: eggs, vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Add mashed bananas and pumpkin puree. Mix until well combined.

Add flour, salt and baking soda to a bowl. Whisk together to combine. Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients. Mix until well combined. Batter will be thick.

Spray your loaf pans with cooking spray.  Add 1/2 teaspoon Nutella to each. Using a toothpick, swirl Nutella through batter. Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes until bread passes the toothpick test.
