Reese's Peanut Butter Banana Bread
Homemade Bread at Christmas time is a must. I think giving away homemade banana bread has been a long time tradition in Christmas giving. I for one will not be breaking that tradition anytime soon. Plain ole' Banana Bread just doesn't excite me much, but give it a twist or turn and a few ripe bananas on the counter and I'll try anything once. I am excited that I am now the proud owner of a mini loaf pan. Which really isn't all that mini. It bakes four-loaves of bread at one time. One for my family and three to give away. And that is exactly what we did last night. Fresh out of the oven we enjoyed a warm piece of this delicious Peanut-Butter tasting Banana Bread (I only wish I had a tall glass of milk... yes we were all out) and then I wrapped the other three loaves up and they will be given away soon!
Reese's Peanut Butter Banana Bread
recipe found over at Cookies and Cups
1-1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup oil
1 egg
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
Bag of Reese’s Miniature Peanut Butter Cups, cut into fourths (or use the mini Reese's Cups)
Preheat oven to 350. Spray cooking spray into your loaf pan (or mini-loaf pans). In a medium bowl whisk together your flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, set aside. In a large bowl stir together your bananas, peanut butter, oil, egg and sugars. (I used my mixer) Pour your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
Fold in your Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and spread batter into prepared pan. Bake for approx 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. (only about 45 minutes for the mini-loaf pans).

Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then loosen the edges of the pan with a knife and remove from loaf pan, transferring bread to a cooling rack.
